Calico Jesse<p>Played my 3rd mission in Purple Haze. </p><p>I didn’t get the extra mission, but nobody died, so that’s better than the last one. Lots of characters have high stress though.</p><p>I’m rather enjoying it, and hope to play it co-op with friends as well. Calico Jesse<p>Tried playing Purple Haze today. It was interesting, but a key part of the “March” action is not in the rules, but only described on the reference sheet, so I wasn’t resolving encounters. </p><p>I liked it, but it does take up a ton of space. I’ll have to try again with the actual rules. I’ll see how it plays in full another time. </p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/BoardGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BoardGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/WarGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WarGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/SoloGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoloGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/PurpleHaze" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PurpleHaze</span></a></p>

Calico Jesse<p>First time giving the Siege of Malta a go. </p><p>I played the Knights, but on advice from forums I played it so that morale drops for Knights drop a whole number instead of just a box.</p><p>Still won handily, reducing the Turkish morale while there were still 5 cards to go. </p><p>Next time I’ll probably remove the dice modifiers as well. </p><p>Okay, next time I’ll be the Turks, that’s supposed to be much more difficult. </p><p>Love the concept and enjoyed the game.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/SoloGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoloGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/SoloWarGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoloWarGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/WarGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WarGames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/SiegeOfMalta" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SiegeOfMalta</span></a></p>

Lucas Asher<p>Not an RPG, but just played a round of Final Girl by Van Ryder Games (a board game), and. Every time I play this game, I’m so amazed by just how good it is paced and structured. I don’t think I’ve ever won “easily”. Really captures the horror movie structure of almost dying and making a desperate last stand. <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/boardgames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>boardgames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/solo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>solo</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/sologames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sologames</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/finalgirl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>finalgirl</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/horror" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>horror</span></a></p>
