Wes AFØAJ<p>What the actual heck? Wes AFØAJ<p>Another quick <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/POTA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>POTA</span></a> activation in Kansas on the way back home. Wes AFØAJ<p>It's been a fruitful <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/POTA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>POTA</span></a> filled vacation. I've managed to log both DC and ND, leaving nine open spots on the bingo card for US states hunted.</p><p>The JPC-12 antenna continues to be lopsided, transmitting better than it hears; I generally get good reports from others, while being able to give a report as strong as I get perhaps only a third of the time. Justin - KD0COV<p>3) We ran down to another POTA spot on the Wisconsin border earlier, mostly to check it out for future reference. Found out <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.radio/@Kb9vbr" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>Kb9vbr</span></a></span> was there the day before! It's a little more humble, but it could be a fun challenge in the future. </p><p>4) Next goal, get the pole on the bike and get out this spring/summer. Then visit some of the obscure WMAs/SNAs and State Forests that don't get the attention the parks here in the Twin Cities do.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.hams.social/tags/POTA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>POTA</span></a></p>
