Scale, meds, dressing, prepping Arwen's food, letting Arwen out, feeding Arwen... And then I got my bag and headed to Skoosh. Onwards to the gym.</p><p>I caught up with some notifications and chats from sweet friends. Then I rode the seated bike for half an hour. I got to the massage chair after that. And then it was time to head back home again.</p><p>Washed up, had brekky, and then Arwen and I headed out for SniffiVerse™ walkies. We had a nice walk, but Arwen wanted the "in-between" route tonight. Guess the injection from last Friday hasn't fully kicked in yet... So we walked the shorter route. I tried to write a bit for my blog, but my hands were being awful, so in the end I just watched some steaming series while Arwen was getting in her sniffs. 😊</p><p>We got back and I grabbed my laptop. I worked on my blog and I got a bit distracted. I remember thinking "when I'm done, I can get some exercises in". I checked one clock and it said 3:15. But... Two others said 4:15. Ah! Crap! That time changing thing was tonight! 😂 I knew it was this weekend but somehow I just didn't realize it was this night! Silly me! So yeah, that exercises bit... That was my lost hour!</p><p>I walked Arwen and I fixed some food. I knew Arwen would want to head to the Herperduin again, but due to the time change, it would be getting light "later". So when it finally started to get light, I got the towel and Arwen was all excited for walkies.</p><p>We had a nice walk at the Herperduin, and Arwen got some sniffs and many splashes! When we got back, I tried to relax a bit on the couch. Around 9:30, Arwen wanted walkies again. After that, I had some food. I cleaned up yesterday's laundry, and then I booted up the purple beast (PS5) to play some more NMS.</p><p>A sweet friend joined a little later and we had a nice chat. I was a bit grumpy as my neck was hurting, I was tired, and the damn dog at the neighbor's kept yapping so much... 😔 So I may have been a bit grumpy 🫣 Whoops, sorry!</p><p>Arwen missed the 11:00 walkies as she was snoozing loudly. So around 13:40, she really wanted walkies again. I texted N and we went out for walkies together. B was being a naughty black furball and I laughed so much! 😂 Silly pupper!</p><p>I relaxed a bit on the couch, but I felt so tired, that it was hard to wait till the usual time to let Arwen out for a wee. When she was done, I headed to bed. It didn't take too long before I dozed off.</p><p>I woke up an hour before the alarm, and I was surprised that I slept this long in one go! My body was sore from the chores of tbe previous day (washing Smurf was a hard thing now for me), and my pain meds were done working, so my body needed to get up and get moving. 😊 The scale was an asshat again which will probably be my own "fault" (but maybe I can blame the hormones? 🤔 Hihi). I got dressed, cared for Arwen, and then got ready to head to the gym again.</p><p>I caught up with some texts from some very sweet friends. I caught up with some notifications. I rode the seated bike for a while, until my leg had enough again. And then, I didn't use the massage chair for ten minutes... I used it for twenty! My body was sore and no one seemed to want to use it, so I snuck in an extra ten minutes. Yay! Then I headed back to Skoosh again so I could get home.</p><p>Washed up, changed, had brekky. The weather app said there was a a 90% chance of rain, so I was a good gall and I took my umbrella. So... Of course I didn't need it... Which wasn't too bad, but it's weird. As when it said there was a 40% chance, it rained, and now it said 90% and it was dry... Weather can be weird! 😂 We had a nice walk and Arwen had many sniffs and she did her things. I worked on my blog some, so that was good too. I started a new post that I thought would be "an easy one". But then, with adding all the needed alt texts, it took me quite a while before I was content with it. It won't go online for a while yet, as I have many blogs planned ahead. But at least I have another one to share. And I think I did rather well on it. 😊</p><p>When we got home, I switched clothes and I got to the treadmill. I walked for an hour! Just a slow 4,4kmh pace, but still... I did have a 3% incline for 55 minutes, so that wasn't too bad!</p><p>I washed up, changed again, and then had some food. Arwen and I relaxed a bit and then we headed to Skoosh. We drove to the Herperduin, and Arwen and I had a lovely walk. The weather was good enough and it wasn't too busy yet, so Arwen and I could have a relaxing walk there.</p><p>After that, we had some relaxing time. I started the laundry, and when that was done, and I had some food, I started the dishwasher. Around 9, Arwen wanted walkies again. And she was lucky as her friend was out again as well. 😊</p><p>When we got back, I swept the floor and couch. Then I had some soup, and my friend texted me that she was getting ready too. We booted the PS5's and started up the NMS games. We played solo, but we chatted while we both started the new expedition. We played till it was time to get ready for last long walkies for me again.</p><p>The walkies were nice and the weather was a bit chilly. But when the sun was out and there wasn't too much wind, it wasn't too bad. Arwen got some splashes in again as well.</p><p>We watched some telly till it was time to get ready for bed. Arwen did a wee and then I took an extra painkiller and dived into my bed. It didn't take too long to fall asleep.</p><p>Woke once after about 4 hours for the loo. Got to the scale, which was a little less nice to me. Got dressed, took my meds, and prepared Arwen's food. She went out for a wee. And then she was happily eating and I put out the snacks and I grabbed my bag to head to Skoosh.</p><p>I enjoyed my protein shake while I waited for the meds to kick in. Was checking my socials and then I saw a text from my mum. She never texts this late. Hmmm 🤔. Well it wasn't good news, but, in a way, it was good news...</p><p>Without sharing too many details, mum has a small hole in her diaphragm. They closed that some time ago, but apparently, it's back... Some of her intestines got though the hole. And they block up the "usual flow of things". So when the usual meds didn't help, they admitted her to the hospital. So she finally gets some relief. And hopefully they can schedule the surgery (she was on the waiting list already) soon.... But that threw me off a bit. I was glad that she was getting help but I was also a bit worried...</p><p>I offered some help to her and dad and then I tried to do the usual things at the gym. But my mind was a bit preoccupied... I rode the seated bike, had a massage in the chair, and then headed to Skoosh again.</p><p>I washed up, changed, had brekky, and then Arwen and I went out for the usual SniffiVerse™ walkies. We had a decent enough walk, so that was good. I managed to work on my blog a little and with some help from AI, I "made" a simple cover art thingie for a playlist on Spotify. I have to say that I really like the cover, so I'll share it here. 😊</p><p>I didn't do any exercises after the walkies. I knew I needed some spoons later to help dad, so I worked on my blog instead. I also finished the second season of "Totenfrau" on Netflix. I really enjoyed the series. 😊 Then I fixed some food. Arwen and I went out for walkies. When I tried to open the door, Arwen's friend was walking up. So of course we went for another round. 😂</p><p>I relaxed a bit with some gaming after that. No Man's Sky had a big update, so I wanted to grab that and try it out. 😊 I played a little and then I logged off so I could get ready to start the chores that I still had for today.</p><p>First I took Arwen to the vet. I also got the meds for her friend B, so that N didn't have to ride the bike to there to get them. Then we visited the Jumbo so I could get some groceries for dad, as mum was in the hospital. Onwards to Nijmegen. I walked the dog's and then dad was ready so we started the work on the cleaning of Smurf (their car).</p><p>I had told dad of the things I could not properly do. So I ended up doing them anyway... 😔 Yeah apparently, dad could do those things even less, so they were still up to me. 😢 So when Arwen and I headed home, I started to feel some ouchy here and there...</p><p>I fixed some food for Arwen and myself and then we got ready for walkies with N&B. We had a nice walk and Arwen had some splashes! Then we relaxed with some telly till it was time for us to get ready for bed. Arwen did a wee, so that was good. 😊 I took an extra painkiller and went to bed.</p><p>It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo. When I woke again, it was about an hour till the alarm. But my body was sore, so I just had to get up. The scale was an asshat, ugh...
