Terri K O 🍁<p>I was going to joke that it's a good week to be looking at houses in Canada, but let's be honest I probably would have said the same any time in the past decade of living in the US. </p><p>Anyhow, today's open house was overpriced and "as is," but I enjoyed the surprise lightly trashed bar/home theatre room in the basement. CaledonMoneypit 🇨🇦<p>Wife and I went out for dinner last night (local diner, banquet burgers for both of us) and discussed next steps on our downsizing and new home journey.</p><p>1) Create a punch list of things that need to be patched, painted, repaired or completed prior to listing our current home.</p><p> 2) Start looking for a local real estate agent who will sell the house.
