Glypha was a 90s Mac clone of Joust, and when I was a kid, this is one of the Mac games I was hooked on when the family got a Performa (I'm currently working on a blog post on my favorite 90s Mac games). Jake in the desertToday (December 3) in 1993, Duke Nukem II was released for DOS. It was a vast improvement over the original Duke game, and it would be three more years until Duke would go 3D. Duke II is one of my all-time favorite 2D platformers (maybe my top favorite one) -- it's a total blast of a game.
