From yestarday’s #velomobile ride. It was a mistake to not wait for the snow plow. At the end of the ride the steering was starting to be difficult, because of all the slush and snow in the wheel well

The #Frostpendeln2024 season closes with 2,246 km (1,395 mi) over 74 trips from Nov. 1 to Feb. 28. The community and enthusiasm of @frostpendeln are so motivating and uplifting. A big Thank You to Tobi and the other organizers who make this happen. I look forward to next season. Perhaps there will be a team for North America?

Today was the end of #wintercycling, December 1 to February 28. My total is 5236 km (3253 miles).

Tomorrow, March 1, is the begin of "meteorological spring" in southern Germany. It will take a few more weeks until there are more warm and sunny than cold and wintry days.

Moin,
das war's nun mit dem #Winter und #FrostPendeln im team #Nordlichter
1.323 km waren es für mich in den letzten 4 Monaten, allerdings hatte ich davon 3 Wochen eine gesundheitliche "Zwangspause".
Ich hoffe, es geht nun wieder aufwärts.
Dann schauen wir mal, wohin es mich in den nächsten Monaten verschlägt und ob es mit der einen oder anderen Radreise klappt.

25-30mph winds (40-48kph) have produced some hefty snow drifts for #winterbiketoworkday.

Later in the afternoon it was time for a recreational ride. Got to get a bit of exercise occasionally. Luckily, by now the snowploughs had been everywhere and as the snow wasn't falling any more the surfaces stayed good.
