@PedestrianError if it is not about burning #oil or #gas to profit off our collective demise, they are against it: #Rail, #WalkableCities, #SolarPower, #EnergyStorage. I am starting to think the #ZeroSum mentality that tries to force us into a false dichotomy of #violence and #subjugation itself derives from #fear based in #SelfLoathing.

Did the celebration of might, power, guns, weapons, the military, strutting, coarse manliness make you queasy?

Did you wonder where all this would end, the need to see more and more people as the enemy, the justification of lies, cruelty, ruthlessness? The supervision of citizens, so that you had to watch everything you did or said for fear you, too, would be rounded up?

Or was it easier just to go along with it all?
