I still need to get local IRC (and probably a matrix<->IRC bridge) or local Matrix and a CLI client set up. But I'm most interested in providing some tools for public and semi-public in character messages and planning. I'm tempted to do gotosocial, but that feels like A Lot and also The Wrong Thing. So now I'm trying to reason around a BBS that's written entirely in bash + dialog and works entirely on text files. I could probably put together a quick and dirty version in half an hour (but I'm rustier than I've been in years, so maybe that half an hour is actually four hours?and/but do I really want a quick and dirty version?)
