It was about 30 years ago that I first heard Ozric Tentacles.

The Erpland album and in particular the track 'Eternal Wheel' was my Ozrics gateway drug, and it's probably still my fave track of theirs to this day.

Randomly decided to check out the first Silver Apples album from the late 60s cause I was fascinated reading about their homemade keyless synthesizer made out of 40s era electrical musical oscillators today, and really dug it.

It was kind of the mid point between late #60s #psychedelic pop and #70s #krautrock with some later #spacerock thrown in. Weird, but often tuneful and always driven by great drumming.
