It's a shame that people post things like this about OSS.
It's also why the top OSS have commercial companies backing them.
It's also why companies should support OSS that they use

And the bottom line ... If you believe in choosing alternatives to the big companies, cut them slack and be positive especially if they're not funded. Do you pay for software you use? Do you get what it takes to maintain and develop it?

Just finished the #RPi board support with #uboot #EFI in our beloved MTDA. First tried with the RPi EDK2 implementation, but that is far from being usable (who had the idea to convert a DT into ACPI tables???).

Even with Linux 6.12 many things do not work OOTB, like the RPi DTBOs cannot be used with the Kernels DT. Hence you manually need to port them - which is not trivial. #debian #linux #oss

Well... the EDK2 attempt was a dead end. While it is advertised as the more "modern" solution and some distros already use it, it is definitely not suitable for more complex cases like MT...

#verwaltungsdigitalisierung #oss

Just been to the Danish premiere of "Ada & Zangermann" - the movie. (ada.fsfe.org)
It struck me it had quite a bit of similarities to @pluralistic 's "unauthorized bread".
Turns out, not only was that story part of the inspiration. Cory also helped in the initial production of the book.

So if you're looking for a version of Unautorized bread, targeted from about 5 years (and with a much lighter view of the future) check out the book and/or movie!

🎶 please, oooh please, just tell me no.. 🎶

It's 2am and I just want one thing
a strong, handsome, sexy pair of SFP+
in a 10G ethernet switch, RISC-V cores
mod'able, jtag'able, RTOS'able, oooh yes

... so... in all seriousness, there have been lustful hardware-acquisition eyes on this pretty little design since its pre-release marketing materials hit the English speaking OSS internet, and have been watching from afar as its reviews came through, patiently.

I'm not one to say that tonight is the right time to buy a pair, but it's not NOT the right time to buy a pair of Milk-V Vega switches.

*note: I am particularly aware of its limitations, do not expect a production grade switch, mostly want more risc-v hardware to develop with, and general messing around

Is there any OSS or FOSS e-mail client, for Linux or Windows that has native ActiveSync support (not EWS)? 🤔 🐧

I can't seem to find any, and considering it's been around "for a while", I would have thought there would be some (yes, I'm aware of all the fabulous *DAV variants, thanks).

(I mean, there are plenty of e-mail servers that run on Linux, for example, that has server-side support for it.)
