The weirdest things need to be defensively legislated these days, but the Oregon Senate voted to make sure that informing someone of their rights is not illegal. The most interesting part of this news, to me, is that it passed with huge bipartisan support. On to the Oregon House.

To clarify: The ability to safely inform someone of their rights shouldn't even be a question. But here we are.

"Is that snow gone yet?"

"In most places, yes, but up in the mountains, things take awhile."

"So spring hasn't arrived there -- it's still winter?"

"No, winter's done. She just doesn't fully realize it. Go on up; enjoy the beauty of the new season. But take a jacket."

Had an optometrists appt this morning. The dilation eye drop test was done. Usually takes about 2 hrs to wear off, in the meantime everything was extra bright.

Went to the dog park afterwards. Wearing double sunglasses made it work, dog was so happy. Very grateful for the sunglasses because it took 2 hrs for one eye to get normal and 4 hrs for the other.

Went a little something like this, slightly less saliva though.
