Has anyone here tried Tello or Mint for cell service? Seems like a really great no contract alternative to T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. I'm sick of paying $90/mo.

I'm on Month 10 of 12 of my ~$180 per *YEAR* plan on #MintMobile
For +$15 for you.
+Funny Holiday card every December.
Been on the same plan since they were Mint Sim in 2015. When it was only 2GB of 4G for same price. (Now 5GB/5G).
Still unlimited throttled speeds enough for e-mail+map nav still if going over.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the wildfires. We know how important it is to stay connected with your loved ones.
Due to the conditions, Mint Mobile will upgrade your plan to 2TB of high-speed data, with no restriction to your hotspot. We hope you stay safe.

Any of you have experience with Mint Mobile?
I've been having issues with Ting lately, so I started looking around. Mint Mobile seems cheaper for higher usage, and their coverage is good in our area. So I'm thinking of making the switch.
Using #MintMobile for on this trip - they offer unlimited data but the moments I actually had data available were in very sparse pockets of Berlin for short periods of time. Phone calls worked, despite the occasional dropped call here and there. A lot of places offer wifi and it forced me to be off my phone when being a tourist, but I would invest in a data eSIM in the future.
Google Maps offline data was a godsend.
My Annual Cell Phone Analysis
Save $2000 over 3 years with Visible or Mint. Visible is on the Verizon network and Mint is on TMobile.
So much for the ‘free’ phones from the major carriers
(You'll end up paying a lot more!)
Today I learned #MintMobile has a roaming plan for Germany - $20 for 10 days, including data (10GB), texting(500), and calls (500min). That seems easier than a dual SIM.
So #TMobile recently acquired #MintMobile. They promise everything is staying the same, just with better support for the cell network since they're properly owned by TMo now.
It's extremely early in the acquisition, and I know this issue is extremely minor, but they're running an offer for 6 months free of Paramount+ and screwing it up already. It's available for new *and existing* Mint customers, which is great, but if you already have a Paramount+ account, you're fucked. They even say *in the email offer* that if you're already on P+, you'll have to give the offer to someone else.
Why can no major company ever just plain do something nice for existing customers? No strings attached. No gotchas. Just a "hey, we appreciate your business. Here's something free and we're going to make sure you actually get to use it".
I switched to #MintMobile a year ago from being a longtime #Verizon customer and I've been happy with it - especially the price.
If you've been wanting to try it here's a referral link that gives a $15 renewal discount. For disclosure, I get a bill credit as well if you use it, but please don't use it just for my sake. I'm not a paid "influencer".
