I don't want to unfollow my follows as they're generally lovely people. Dr Pen<p>Tech ppl! My <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Moshidon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Moshidon</span></a> push notifications have stopped working (Android 13). I run <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Megalodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Megalodon</span></a> on another phone, push Nots work fine. I have 2 <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> accts in both apps. </p><p>2ndary issue: my other acct (on lor.sh) has a permanent mark as read icon in the app notifications panel which prevents the number of new Nots showing on the icon in the bottom menu. This is in both apps (different phones). </p><p>Both issues began to happen after I installed <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ntfy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ntfy</span></a> to test <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Fedilab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedilab</span></a> Nots. I have uninstalled both.</p>

It isn't any master setting afaics. It goes away if I log out everywhere, then log in again at first it's gone, then it comes back. It affects both apps. Push notifications work as normal.</p>

Erik<p>Re: <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastodon</span></a> apps, reviewed </p><p>Most do exactly what <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/megalodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>megalodon</span></a> does and some weren't great to use. <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Moshidon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Moshidon</span></a> is exactly the same but with different colours. For many months now, maybe as far back as when you reported this, I've had trouble under Android where you coming messages do not get a badge on the Android desktop and do not make a noise. </p><p>I have relevant notification settings turned on in Megalodon, and when I first set it all up it did work with notifications.
