Tatsächlich ist die Bedeutung des Wortes „bezaubernd“ oder „betörend“. Da hab ich ja heute was gelernt. Bezaubernd Katzenkinder liefere ich zu diesem Anlass.

A photo of an art installation by Chiharu Shiota at her expo The Soul Trembles at the Grand Palais, Paris. She aims to connect her inner universe with the outer universe through her works, with art-making helping her to understand herself and her emotions.

In her own words: "Threads become tangled, intertwined, broken off, unraveled. They constantly reflect a part of my mental state, as if they were expressing the state of human relationships."

In this art work called ‘Uncertain Journey‘ she worked with the idea of the journey of life which has no concrete destination. The installation is like one vast network, with the boats carrying us through on a journey of uncertainty and wonder. The dazzling red of the yarn symbolises our blood, the web structure relates to veins and nerve cords and even to the connections between people, our changing relationships. Artist Chiharu Shiota was born in Osaka, Japan and lives and works in Berlin.

There are three boats on a wooden floor in a room connected by lots of threads of red yarn.

Ich habe heute ein neues Wort gelernt. Bloß gut, dass ich nichts mit Sprachen mache.

Diesen #Baum in #Alvito habe ich im Januar schon mal gepostet, aber das Wortspiel konnte ich einfach nicht links fallen, äh, liegen lassen.
