Going for six maybe?I hear myself pulling roots up and rearranging them among the flowers of things I've learned over the past 30 years of creating songs.I'm finding myself. Learning new things about my musical brain that I might have left behind. craque sprung 🏳️‍🌈The Landscape Ferrous finally in my hands! I have not tried it extensively yet, but it is described as a "Spinning Magnetic Polyphonic String Resonator".It has such a smooth feel. The wood case sits great in one hand. Here's a short demo of me turning it on and spinning it up with both the dial and the trigger button.Landscape is hit and miss with me, sonically. For one, a majority of the sound profiles of the instruments are in an audio range that resembles (and aggravates) my tinnitus hyperacusis. So not my go-to. I like some of those sounds as ornaments, not whole instruments.But this... is like an eBow on psychedelics. Even on an unpowered electric guitar I can hear the complexity of tones it brings. Play, improvise, reach a repeatable result. - Add another layer, same process. - Do this 1-2 times again until it's something I like. - Record. Edit. Improvise structures in Ableton. Take out what doesn't belong. - Record voices, instruments, drums, and other non-synth gear. - Edit. Modulate structures. Take out what doesn't belong. - Wait. - Repeat any step above as necessary. - Arrange sounds into the sections with articulators of form. - Mix, filter, and EQ. - Save to 48k/24bit WAV - Sit and wait for the next netlabel revolution.<a href="https://c.im/tags/craque" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#craque</a>
