Cold Smoked Cherry Darkness bourbon-barrel aged imperial #stout
Wonderful smokey cherry nose, rich full body with tart cherry and bourbon flavors and boozy finish. Smoke ‘em if you have ‘em!
Temps tomorrow morning expected to be -13F. It’s 7F now but wind chills are in the -16F range!
Makes me Mad at Midnight. Thank goodness I’ve got this #portageBrewing barrel-aged mole imperial stout to bring the heat.

Licorice and bourbon barrel notes have amped up even as the body has flattened out. Wouldn’t suggest leaving it open for 4 days, but won’t complain - it’s a great #stout!

Rich chocolate, licorice, raisin, bourbon - there is a LOT going on. Aged well, full-bodied with marvelous flavors.
