#ScribesAndMakers 3.15 — How's your creativity this month? Anything you would like help with?

It's been tough this month. I've been a bit sick from my infusion therapy. So, while there's a lot that I'd certainly like to be writing, I haven't been able to find the energy to do any of it. The beginning of the month was nice, though. it'll come back to me, it always does. It's just a matter of finding the energy and feeling better.

Today is international #LongCovid Awareness Day

Check this canadian interview with a Mount Sinai (NY) chronic disease specialist. Up to one in five people with COVID-19 develop LONG COVID, meaning three months after having the disease they still do not recover their full abilities.

The specialist affirms that each reinfection, even moderate, of COVID-19 subtracts between 2-6% of IQ.

LONG COVID is a disease that causes systemic damage, especially to the immune system, causing T-cell exhaustion and triggering latent diseases or exposing the body to new pathogens from which it would have been able to defend itself before. Worth a listen:

Now that it’s warmer, I’ve been able to get to the dojo with my husband and watch the tai chi class.

The last time I went was two weeks ago and I could only sit and watch. Tonight I totally surprised myself and was able to do the full Yang style 40 form before sitting down!

I’ve been on the new meds for three weeks now. Definitely less fatigue and more energy 🤞

A quiet day for me. It's rainy out, and I'm couch potato-ing it today. Starting two new powerful treatments for #lupus in the course of one week has thrown me a bit off center. I'm in the "loading" stage, so both treatments happen fast and furiously at first, but after this week of five shots, it's just one shot a week . Both treatments are injectable, one I inject myself, the second requires a doctor's visit.

I can't get the phrase "Inject-a-Jon" out of my head 😆
