Fell<p>I am dreaming of a C-like programming language designed with multithreading in mind.</p><p>Instead of writing code from top to bottom, you would specify which operations must happen sequentially, and which ones are independent.</p><p>The compiler would then automatically produce a program that spawns a worker thread for each processor core.</p><p>I have no idea how that would work in detail, but it would be super cool. Maybe that already exists and it sucks.
