okay, I seem to be able to reproduce unrecoverable buffer underruns when the peripheral device (the headset) is capable of connecting to multiple centrals
I had my headset paired with my tablet (wot for watching CRITTERS 2 for #Monsterdon yesterday) and when it connected to both that and my PC just now, it triggered a loop where it seems to lose and regain one of those connections (the tablet, I *think*) in a cycle
and the audio buffer just persistently under-runs from that point forward until the "other" central is disconnected
