Ich bin dabei im Zuge von #unplugtrump auf ne managed nextcloud auszuweichen und die icloud auf das minimale (Gerätebackup) einzufampfen. Zwei Fragen dazu vorab an die #followerpower:
1. wie geht das mit dem Streamen der Fotos in die Nextcloud statt in die iCloud? Habt ihr da Erfahrungen gesammelt wo es halt?
2. meine ganze Musik: gibt es Player auf iOS womit ich die so komfortabel abspielen kann wie meine Apple Musik Datenbank? Also direkt aus der Cloud?

Jetzt wo #HostEurope auf einmal sämtliche Kunden-Emails zu #Office365 entführen will - zu welchem Provider möchte man denn ein kleines Hostingpaket umziehen, wo es nicht in einem halben Jahr genau so losgeht und die Daten (illegal?) aus unserer Rechtssprechung herausgezogen werden?

hey, #lazyweb #followerpower : For an event, I want to allow people to easily (scan-a-QR-code easy) join a groupchat to swap text and image messages from their phones.

The scan will be under controlled circumstances (ie: Me showing the QR code to specific persons only), but for obvious reasons I still want to be able to moderate the chat (ie: kickban dickpic-posters and such)

Ich vermute mal, dass uns dies #Google-Logins auch über Platformen hinweg tracken. Kann man das irgendwie verhindern? Gibt es dafür Plugins, die den Code rausschmeißen? Es nervt ohnehin.

Unter unseren Followern befinden sich doch auch einige Menschen der schreibenden Zunft. Sind darunter evtl. auch welche, die Erfahrung in der Erstellung von #eBooks im #EPUB-Format haben? Welche Programme sind denn hier unter #Linux empfehlenswert? Und nicht nur für die reine Erstellung, sondern bspw. auch zur Validierung des Buches oder zur Konvertierung in andere Formate (PDF, HTML etc.). Eine Änderungsverfolgung mittels eines Codeverwaltungssystems wäre ebenfalls hilfreich.

Könnte mir jemand einen Mailanbieter empfehlen? Eine Studentin möchte weg von Google, WhatsApp usw.
Ich erinnere mich nur an Posteo, gibt es noch mehr?
