A film I really, really enjoy despite the middling reviews and box office it got at the time was The Good Shepherd, a film that traces the history the #CIA from the OSS to the 60s through a fictional high ranking official's career played by Matt Damon.

The film does a good job really demonizing the early CIA and what an awful, cutthroat business it was and has a really solid supporting cast and is very ably directed by Robert De Niro who also co-stars as basically Bill Donovan

A better Indiana Jones sequel would have been set in the 1990s as two trepid investigators find the CIA documents about the Ark Of The Covenant and everything else in that warehouse and go on merry adventures.

I've always liked the notion that the Ark is some mad radioactive rock that has to be kept in lead until the (suicide) pall bearers drop the lid and the skin starts to melt......hours later going by that Chernobyl series.
