Beavers continue to chew on this tree. It might be the third year of them chewing on it. Interesting pattern where they just remove the bark.

I'm all for #scientist but the way we report science make it sound like scientist are the last to know stuff.
Mother nature has figured all this out millions of years ago. We do need to pay attention to #gaia.
How about; Scientist have figured out one of many roles that #beavers and #beaverDam play in our carefully balanced #ecoSystem.

In #Czechia near #Brdy a 1,2 million #renaturation project was planned. but after years of planning when the project was about to start, they discovered that #Beavers had already done all the work!

My parents took their kids on many nature walks and hikes when we were growing up which is where my love of nature and rambling outdoor walks comes from.
One time we walked by a dried-up old pond and saw an abandoned beaver’s lodge there.
I still think about that lodge sometimes and hope the beavers who lived there built wonderful new homes in nearby bodies of water.
